Finish

Visible wood grain

NS Wood Finishing project: wood cabinetry with a matching range hood, glass-front doors and a large island — A kitchen with visible grain, substantial door frames and a matching wood hood.

NS Wood Finishing project: wood-grain kitchen cabinetry and an island with a stone waterfall countertop — Wood grain extends from the wall cabinetry to the island.

A closer look.

The grain gives each of these NS kitchens its own rhythm. Look at how it carries across drawer fronts, door panels and the side of an island.

These photographs show different rooms and finish directions. The right stain or clear-finish approach for your cabinetry depends on its wood, existing coating and condition; a physical sample confirms the result.
